Have you ever glanced over to look at something that caught your eye, and see that someone is watching/looking at you? Well Ive got just the thing for you! New and Improved... WINK! Thats right folks, just WINK! at them and if they are cool enough, they will return your WINK! with their WINK!. Its just that easy!
Are you convinced yet? If not, I don't blame you, I'm not a fan of the cheesy salesman telling you about this one situation that you get to use a fantabulous product for. But i do enjoy being shouted at when watching an ad.
But in all seriousness, winking at people that stare you is one way to get them to stop staring, to get them to question "Did that guy/girl just wink at me?", or if they're cool enough, they will wink right back at you. And it doesn't even have to be with people you don't know. I wink at people everyday, sometimes I don't have enough time to pull my hand up and wave at them, or I'm just really tired. Winking takes much less time, and people respond to it. Also, its not nearly as obvious as waving, and if you see someone you know thats a pretty good friend in the hallway and you decide to save some energy and wink at them, but they don't see you and just keep walking. No big deal, noone else saw it either, just pretend like it never happened and everything will be OK. Now the same situation happens, only this time, you wave at them hoping for them to see you or your hand but they don't see it even though you gave them plenty of time to look over, and everyone behind you thinks that you are just making up friends. Is that what you want?
