Accents

SO I know we live in KY and country accents are fairly common to hear. BUT have you ever gone a whole day with a fake accent? Doesn't really matter what kind of accent you used, or if it was even a good impersonation. AND it doesn't even have to speaking in an accent... you could talk to your friends on Facebook, Skype, Aim if you still use it, Myspace if its still alive, ANYTHING!, just using an accent. It creates kind of a puzzle game of "what do you think i said?" although most of the time, it's easy to guess.

Every year, a couple of friends and I have one big Accent Day. On Accent Day, you have to go the whole school day talking in an accent, whichever you choose. (Unless a mean teacher is talking to you and is threatening you with death/write up). I usually go with a deep southern accent because its hard to understand and  i wont have to use it as much as most people... But thats me. It keeps my conversations with my parents at a minimum as well.

SO to sum it all up, If you are deathly bored at home, having a bad day at school, or about to fall asleep in a meeting... Talk in an accent for the remainder of the time until you find something better to do.

P.S. I dont hate my parents, i just get bored in conversations a lot.
